A Wallaroo couple have confessed to screaming the house down after discovering they scored $880,000 in the weekend’s Saturday X Lotto draw.
The Yorke Peninsula residents held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4631, drawn Saturday 6 December 2025. Each division one winning entry can look forward to a total prize of $888,814.08.
As the winners had not registered their ticket to The Lott Members Club, officials were unable to contact them about their windfall and had to wait for them to check their ticket and come forward.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! It’s very epic,” the winning husband said.
“I was at home next to my wife when we checked the ticket. She just got up and started screaming like crazy!
“It’s great timing, and it’ll make for a wonderful Christmas and New Year.
“I think once it’s in our bank account, it’ll feel more real. Then we can go out and celebrate!
“I play every week, so it was a real surprise.
“Now we’ll just have a good think about what we will do. Thank you so much.”
The winning pair purchased their ticket from Wallaroo Newsagency, 17 Owen Terrace, Wallaroo.
Wallaroo Newsagency owner Kerrie Smith said she was thrilled the small town had nabbed a division one win.
“How fantastic! What an exciting week. We’ll be spreading the good news to everyone,” she said.
“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was around seven years ago, so we’re thrilled another one has come.
“Congratulations and Merry Christmas to our winner. What a way to end the year and start 2026!”
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4631 on 6 December 2025 were 17, 42, 5, 10, 33 and 45, while the supplementary numbers were 31 and 44.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4631 – three in Victoria, two in New South Wales and one each in Queensland and South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 405 so far in 2025, including 34 won by SA Lotteries customers.
In FY25, Saturday X Lotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning Saturday X Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
