A generous Geelong man is ready to spoil his family with a long-awaited holiday after winning division one in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The happy winner held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3929, drawn Saturday 16 March 2019. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,279,122.52.

As well as winning the coveted division one prize, the man’s marked System 8 entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, bolstering his total prize to $1,292,796.37.

“We’re so excited we don’t know what to do, to be honest!” the newly-minted millionaire laughed.

“On Sunday morning I checked my phone and there was an email there saying I’d had a win.

“I’d had a couple of small wins in the past so I didn’t think too much of it.

“It wasn’t until a bit later that I realised the email was in a much larger font than normal, so I thought ‘I’d better go and check that again’.

“When I checked it again and realised that I had won I just stared at the screen for ages.

“I thought to myself ‘I’ll wait until I get a phone call to confirm it, then I’ll believe it’ and now I can!”

The generous family man revealed he wasn’t a ‘flashy car or flashy house’ kind of person, instead declaring his family was at the top of his Lotto List.

“We’ll probably do something to help the kids but apart from that I really don’t know!” he exclaimed.

“It will be used for the family I do know that for sure.

“We’ve been talking about going on a bit of a family holiday for a while now, so we’ll do that.

“Then we’ll just work out the best way to help the kids and secure the future for me and my wife.

“It really will make a difference to us!”

When asked if the Geelong local intended to ease into an early retirement, he declared his love for his job would keep him busy.

“I love working! I would be no good sitting around home. I think I’d drive my wife crazy!” the happy man laughed.

“My wife loves her job too so we’ll continue to work!”

The stoked bloke, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his marked System 8 entry at Woolworths Petrol – Geelong West, 109 Shannon Avenue, Geelong West.

The latest win is the second division one winning entry to land in the Geelong region this month after a Geelong man took home a prize worth over $1.3 million just nine days ago.

The win makes the third division one winning entry to land in the Geelong region so far in 2019.

It was a winning weekend for the Geelong area after a resident or visitor who purchased their entry from Market Square Lotto, 131-133 Market St, Geelong took home a division two prize in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw worth $10,200.90.

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3929 on Saturday 16 March 2019 were 42, 15, 31, 12, 1 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 36.

Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3929, one each from Victoria, New South Wales and Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 264 so far this financial year, including 113 won by Tatts customers.

In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
