“Beautiful, mate!” he exclaimed.
“Five hundred and seventy-five grand! Unbelievable.
“I’ve been playing those numbers for 30-odd years. And the funny thing is I’ve been telling people if you haven’t won division one in 20 years forget about it. So I’ve got egg on my face!
“This is going to be split with some of my family members. This is just fabulous. Lovely! This is brilliant!”
The winner shared it had been a difficult few years for him and his family, but he hoped the TattsLotto win was a sign of good things to come.
“I’ve bent, but I haven’t broken. I’ve waited long enough for this, and it’s come true,” he said.
“There’ll probably be a holiday in there as well – probably Japan or somewhere like that.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 12-game marked entry at Plaza Newsagency, Shop 17, Lalor Plaza Shopping Centre, 22 McKimmies Road, Lalor.
