Forget tea and toast, a Gippsland woman was served a $620,000 treat over breakfast after she scored division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The east Melbourne resident held one of the eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4449, drawn Saturday 9 March 2024 and took home a total prize of $620,369.07.
“Thank you so much,” she said when an official from The Lott called to confirm the wondrous news.
“We were having breakfast yesterday morning and we decided to check our TattsLotto ticket.
“We couldn’t believe it once we saw the amount.
“It’s a life-changing amount for us!
“This ticket was just a QuickPick – I guess they’re my lucky numbers now!
“We’ve been playing for years and years!
“I think we’re just in too much shock to decide what to do with the prize.
“I must say we looked at the ticket about 10 times to make sure it was true.
“Thank you!”
Her winning entry was purchased on The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4449 on 9 March 2024 were 11, 25, 17, 3, 2 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 24.
Across Australia, there were eight division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4449 – four in Victoria, three in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 299 so far in FY24, including 106 won by Tatts customers.
In 2023, TattsLotto created 176 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 303 division one winning in TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
