A young Gold Coast mum is ready to “share the kindness” after the revelation she scored $30 million in this evening’s Oz Lotto draw.
The Burleigh woman in her 30s held the only division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1440 on Tuesday 21 September 2021.
The Queenslander was just about to enjoy a relaxing cup of tea before bed when an official from The Lott called this evening to reveal she’s now Australia’s newest multi-millionaire.
“What! Is this legit?” the winner initially questioned.
“Are you serious? Oh my goodness.
“This amazing! This is life-changing. I have no idea what to say.
“Everybody has had such a strange year with COVID. Our family’s lives have been turned upside down.
“But with this, we can set ourselves up, set our kids up, set our family up. It will change our lives, and we’ll want to share that kindness with others.
“It’s a lot to take on board.
“I actually checked the draw results before, but they weren’t ready, so I went and had a shower.
“I have a cup of tea to drink, but I think we’ll have a drink instead.
“The kids are in bed, but we’ll be pacing up and down all night thinking about it all.”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 24-game QuickPick online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1440 on Tuesday 21 September 2021 were 27, 42, 31, 38, 37, 3 and 39, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 10.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Oz Lotto draw 1440 – the entry from Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 333 so far this calendar year, including 83 won by Golden Casket customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 23 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across Australia collectively won more than $283.12 million.
During this time, the biggest Oz Lotto jackpot was $50 million, which was won by a North Sydney woman in July 2020.
