A Reedy Creek mum has confessed she’d almost given up the dream of one day owning her own home until she realised she’d won $1.5 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Queenslander held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4603 on Saturday 30 August 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $1,569,487.31.
Missed calls from an official from The Lott prompted the woman to check her Saturday Gold Lotto ticket.
“I’m stunned!” she declared when her win was confirmed.
“I keep looking at my ticket. I’ve looked at it plenty of times. It’s awesome!
“I never thought I’d win. I can’t believe it.
“The first thing I’m going to do is buy a house. I never thought that one day I’d be able to buy my own family home. This is the best thing ever.
“I usually just buy a QuickPick when I play. I hadn’t bought a lottery ticket for many years, but then a year or so ago I restarted. I thought, ‘you’ve got to be in it to win it!’.
“I know this win deserves a celebration, but at this stage, I’m just stunned and speechless!”
The woman’s 12-game QuickPick was purchased at TSG Reedy Creek, Shop 3, Reedy Creek Village, 1 Kingsmore Boulevard, Reedy Creek.
TSG Reedy Creek owner Nish Singh said he was celebrating his outlet’s second division one win in 2025 to date.
“People say that our shop is very lucky for them and we hope we can make many more people millionaires,” he said.
“I really feel very happy when someone wins. The smile on my face says it all!
“Congratulations to our winner. Enjoy every cent to the fullest and have a long vacation!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4603 on 30 August 2025 were 10, 28, 5, 4, 9 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 2 and 14.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4603 – three in Victoria and one in Queensland.
