An Edmonton mum was left breathless this morning following the revelation she’s now a millionaire from last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw.
The Far North Queensland player held one of the four division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4039, drawn 30 December 2020. She takes home a division one prize of $1 million.
When an official from The Lott reached out to the winning woman this morning, she had no idea she’d become an overnight millionaire.
“Woah!” she screamed.
“Oh, oh my gosh. I don’t know what to say. I can’t breathe.
“That’s such good news. Thank you!
“I’ve been playing the same numbers for years, but I never thought I’d win that much. That’s lovely! Just lovely!
“What a way to start the New Year! There’s another reason to celebrate New Year’s Eve tonight!”
While still recovering from the shock of the news, the happy winner admitted she did have some initial plans for her million-dollar-fortune.
“This will set me and my family up for life,” she declared.
“I’d love to go on a holiday somewhere next year too. I just want to go to paradise for a day or so!”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her marked 12-game entry at Tobacco Station Edmonton, Shop T10a, 7-11 Walker Street, Edmonton.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4039 on Wednesday 30 December 2020 were 21, 2, 32, 30, 11 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 42.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4039 – three from New South Wales and one from Queensland.
