A pair of Gosford brothers are taking the term ‘brotherly love’ to the next level - with plans to share their $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win.
The New South Wales pair won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10569, drawn Thursday 12 May 2022.
An official from The Lott called one of the Central Coast players, who revealed he was busy at work and completely unaware of their life-enhancing win.
“I had no idea! I’m so shocked,” he laughed.
“I’m just at work now, so it’s a great disruption to my day. It’s made the day a lot better!
“This is fantastic. Honestly, thank you so much.
“I’ve been playing since the jackpot started to climb. I was hoping to win the jackpot, but this is awesome.
“I always play Lucky Lotteries with my brother – so this prize will be shared between us. He’s going to be stoked!
“I’ll have to call him after this and break the news. We’ll probably have some beers to celebrate and mark the exciting occasion.
“I think we’ll both use our prize to pay our bills and get ahead.
“You’ve made my week, and no doubt my brother’s too!”
Their winning entry of ten consecutive numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $9.89 million for draw 1572, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $12.87 million for draw 10570.
