A group of Darwin mates are in the mood to celebrate after discovering they won $200,000 in Fridayâs Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Northern Territory entry, held by a six pub workers, won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1298, drawn Friday 3 May 2019.
Confirming their win with a Tatts official this morning, the syndicate leader revealed those who were sharing the prize were the best of mates.

The over-the-moon winners shared they had only recently formed a private syndicate to play lottery games.
âWeâve been running this syndicate every Thursday for the last few months. Itâs been a roaring success,â he laughed.

The winning entry of two random numbers was purchased at Casuarina Nextra News, Shop GD19, Casuarina Shopping Centre, 247 Trower Road, Casuarina.
Casuarina Nextra News manager Melissa Peacock said she was thrilled to see the $200,000 prize go to a group of locals.
âWe were so excited when we realised weâd sold a division one winning entry and weâre so happy to see it claimed by a group of locals,â she said.
âThis is the first big win weâve had in a little while, so weâre very happy!
âWe hope itâs the beginning of many more!â
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $60.52 million for draw 1299 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10287.
