A Hawkesbury region woman has confessed she initially thought she’d only won $20, not $2 million, in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.

The New South Wales player held one of the 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4177, drawn Saturday 31 July 2021.

“We’re very excited!” the winning mum declared when an official from The Lott contacted her this morning to confirm her prize.

“I was just flicking through my phone last night and I thought I’d check my ticket. I saw it, and it said I’d had a win.

“I thought it was $20 at first, but then I saw there were a few more zeros!

“This was just a one-off. I only play randomly every now and then.

“It’s just awesome. We hardly slept at all last night.

“You always dream about winning something like this, don’t you. Wow!

“This has changed our lives. It will mean so much to my family.

“We can travel around Australia in a caravan and help our kids.”

The woman’s winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4177 on 31 July 2021 were 32, 41, 13, 16, 33 and 18, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 19.

Across Australia, there were 10 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4177 – four from New South Wales and two each from Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland.
