Hump day might be regarded as the toughest day of the working week, but for one Cowra player, it’s suddenly a whole lot more exciting after they discovered they won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.

The elusive New South Wales player won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10387, drawn Monday 15 June 2020.

The ticket was unregistered, so officials from the Lott had no way of contacting the winner to break the news and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

However, how the Lucky Lotteries winner plans to enjoy their good fortune will forever remain a mystery as they’ve chosen to stay completely anonymous and celebrate their prize in private.

Cowra Newsagency owner Margot Vidulich said she couldn’t be happier the outlet’s winner had now come forward.

“Wow, what a great surprise for our winner,” she said.

“I am so pleased they have now come forward.

“I can only imagine all of the exciting plans they have for their prize. I hope they can really enjoy it.

“Hopefully, we are on a bit of a winning streak and can deliver major prize wins to more of our customers.”

While we might never know exactly what the Cowra winner planned to do with their prize, the Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was sure it would bring them much joy.

“What better mid-week news to receive than being told you’ve won $100,000,” she said.

“No doubt our winner has plenty of exciting plans for their windfall.

“Other winners tell us they love using their prize to renovate their homes, buy some much needed household items, or plan future getaways.

“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall, we are sure it has put an extra spring in their step!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $4.12 million for draw 1490 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.28 million for draw 10390.
