A Cherrybrook man has been left smiling from ear to ear and thinking about how his plans for 2024 might now change after bagging more than $1.3 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The Sydney man held one of the four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4445 on Saturday 24 February 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $1,369,939.46.
“Bloody hell!” the winning man gasped when an official from The Lott called to confirm his winning news.
“This is absolutely amazing!
“Mate, I can’t wipe the smile off my face. I’m shocked!
“I’ve been playing lottery games for years, and you always hope you might win, but you never really count on it.
“Now that it has happened, my god, my heart is about to beat out of my chest!
“I can’t believe it! We’ll get to pay off our mortgage and then I guess we’ll have to get into planning mode.
“We’ll find something fun to do, that’s for sure, whether it be an overseas holiday or a change in lifestyle.
“This is going to change our lives. Thank you so much!”
His winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4445 on 24 February 2024 were 26, 38, 42, 16, 17 and 39, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 37.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4445 – Two in New South Wales and one each in Victoria and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 275 so far in FY24, including 96 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
