A Terrigal woman who usually checks her tickets in the morning was stunned when lottery officials revealed her $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win over the phone.
The Central Coast resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10676, drawn Friday 9 September 2022.
“I can’t believe it – lucky I’m sitting down otherwise, I would’ve fainted!” she exclaimed as a lottery official called to confirm the good news, interrupting a call she was already on.
“Oh my god, you can’t be serious. I’m over the moon!
“I’ve got to go and find my husband; he won’t believe me when I tell him.
“This is a miracle!
“We haven’t been able to take holidays in a while, so we’ll do that, and take our children with us too.
“Thank you. You’ve made my whole year!”
Her winning entry of one random number was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $14.45 million for draw 1591, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $26.80 million for draw 10677.
