A Tootgarook great grandfather has struggled to get uback on his feet this morning after being floored with a mind-blowing $1.42 million win in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The Mornington Peninsula resident held one of the 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4363, drawn Saturday 13 May 2023 and took home a total prize of $1,428,571.43.

The long-time player’s morning sleep-in was interrupted when an official from The Lott called to reveal his life-changing windfall.

“Oh, thank you so much! This isn’t a hoax, right?!” he laughed.

“When you called this morning, I was still in bed, but now I’m on the floor!

“I had no idea that I’d won. This is unbelievable!

“I’ve been playing for years, decades! Normally I play tickets with birthdates and anniversary dates, but this ticket just has a bunch of random numbers!

“You’ve just made my day – I’m in shock.

“There will be a lot of family members to call this morning – children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren!

“This will go a long way.

“I’ll start my celebrations by first getting up off the floor.

“Thank you so much.”

His winning marked 24-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4364 on 13 May 2023 were 33, 23, 24, 36, 22 and 6, while the supplementary numbers were 18 and 34.

Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4363 – four in New South Wales and Western Australia, and three each in Queensland and Victoria.
