An Inala shopper has just discovered their new millionaire status after winning $1 million in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto on Wednesday night.
The Queensland entry was the only division one winning entry nationally in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 3893, drawn Wednesday 7 August 2019. The entry scored the guaranteed division one prize of $1 million.
However, how the region’s newest millionaire plans to spend their windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The winning entry was purchased at Biota Street News, 155 Biota Street, Inala.
Biota Street News owner Kerrie Hammet said it was the second time the outlet had made one of their customers a millionaire.
“Wow! We were so excited to have our first millionaire in June last year, to have a second is super thrilling!” she exclaimed.
“We hope this winning streak continues and we sell another division one winning entry soon.
“It’s wonderful news for our customer. Everyone is so happy to hear someone in Inala has won this prize. It’s certainly making everyone smile!

Golden Casket spokesperson Lauren Cooney said while we may never know how the Inala shopper planned to spend their prize we are sure it has changed their life.
