A Collaroy woman has been left lost for words after discovering she’d won more than $2.8 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, a prize that she says will make all of her dreams come true.
The New South Wales woman held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4451 on Saturday 16 March 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $2,857,142.86.
“Holy s**t!” the winning woman exclaimed when an official from The Lott called to confirm her windfall.
“This has got to be a joke, is this a scam?
“Oh my god! Oh my god!
“I don’t even know what to say. This is unbelievable.
“I only grabbed this ticket at the last minute because I’d forgotten. Boy, I’m glad I did.
“This going to make our dreams a reality, it’s going to change our lives.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you.
“What a way to start the week.”
The winning woman’s 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4451 on 16 March 2024 were 44, 40, 35, 17, 28 and 3, while the supplementary numbers were 26 and 33.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4451 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria, and one each in Queensland and South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 310 so far in FY24, including 103 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In 2023, Saturday Lotto created 176 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 303 division one winning in Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
