A Kempsey man is struggling to convince his wife they’ve started their Thursday as millionaires after taking home division one in last night’s Wednesday Lotto.
The New South Wales players held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4125, drawn Wednesday 27 October 2021, and took home $1 million.
Sharing his joy with an official from The Lott this morning, the Mid North Coast winner said he was still reeling after checking his entry.
“I’m really excited!” he laughed.
“I just checked my ticket down at the newsagency. I am absolutely shaking.
“I’ve just rung my wife to tell her I think we’d won one million dollars, and all she said was ‘Oh yeah’ and hung up on me. She doesn’t believe me at all.
“I am shaking. I’ve never won anything like this before.
“It is unbelievable! I am honestly blown away. I don’t know what to say!”
With his lottery fortune about to hit his bank account, the generous dad explained many people would be benefitting from the prize.
“I’m going to pay off the house,” he declared.
“And we will be sharing it around with the kids. It will be incredible!”
Their winning 24-game QuickPick entry was purchased at CTC Kempsey CBD, Shop 1, 67 Smith Street, Kempsey.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4125 on Wednesday 27 October 2021 were 19, 14, 22, 44, 18, and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 42.
Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4125 – one each in New South Wales, Queensland, and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 382 so far this calendar year, including 116 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 95 millionaires across Australia.
