Four days after the draw a mystery Lalor resident has come forward to claim their $1.3 million TattsLotto prize from the weekend’s draw.

The secretive winner held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3947, drawn Saturday 18 May 2019. Each entry takes home a division one prize of $1,363,514.13.

The ticket was unregistered, so Tatts officials had no way of contacting the winner with the life-changing news and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

However how the winner plans to spend their windfall and enjoy life with their new millionaire status will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

Tatts spokesperson Bronwyn Spencer said while we may not know how this winner plans to enjoy their windfall, there was no doubt it would be life-changing.

“We can only imagine how our happy winner will enjoy their $1.3 million TattsLotto prize!” she exclaimed.

“Some winners tell us they will use their windfall to realise their great Australian dream of owning a home, buying an investment property or upgrading their home with renovations.

“While others say they will spend their windfall on a once-in-a-lifetime holiday overseas or that they plan to explore our sunburnt country via motorhome. “Mostly our winners tell us they can’t wait to share it with their beloved family and friends.

“No matter how our winner plans to enjoy their windfall, we do know that their life has changed forever!”

The winning entry was purchased at Lalor Lucky Lotto, 332 Station Street, Lalor.

Lalor Lucky Lotto owner Dao Vu said he was thrilled the winner had been united with his prize.

“We are so pleased they have come forward to claim their prize so they can enjoy it!” he exclaimed.

“The store has been here for a while, and it is the 41st time that Lalor Lucky Lotto had sold a division one winning entry so far and the fifth since we took over the business two years ago.

“On top of this win, one of our syndicates also won division two so it will be a double celebration for us!

“We’ll be decorating the store to ensure all of our customers know we’ve just sold division one and two winning entries.

“The last time we sold division one was last year so it is exciting to have sold another one so soon.

“We wish our winner all the very best with their prize! We are sure it will be wonderful for them!”

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and TattsLotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 3947 on Saturday 18 May 2019 were 8, 45, 6, 2, 39 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 5 and 13.

Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 3947, one each from New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 138 so far this calendar year, including 65 won by Tatts customers.
