A Lambton player could be walking into work for the very last time today after discovering they were the mystery $4.66 million Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot winner lottery officials had been searching for.

The elusive New South Wales player won the Jackpot Prize of $4.66 million in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10416, drawn Tuesday 6 October 2020.

The ticket was unregistered, so officials from The Lott had no way of contacting the winner to break the news and had to wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

However, how the winner plans to spend their multi-million-dollar windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.

The winning entry was purchased at Lambton Nextra, 97 Elder Street, Lambton.

Lambton Nextra owner Trish Firth said she was thrilled the winner had discovered this exciting news.

“How wonderful,” she said.

“We have been waiting for our winner to come forward.

“I am sure it has made for a great end to the week!

“We would like to wish our winner all the very best and hope they enjoy their prize.

“This year has been tough for anyone, so I hope it makes things a little easier for our winner.

“This is the biggest prize we’ve sold, so we are so thrilled.

“We can’t wait to sell another major prize.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she could imagine the winner’s plans for the weekend had changed dramatically since their winning discovery.

“What an incredible way to end the week, discovering you are now a multi-millionaire,” she said.

“Other winners tell us they love to share their windfall with their families, buy their dream home or purchase a caravan and travel around Australia.

“However, our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall we are sure it has put a spring in their step!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot is now $2.20 million for draw 1504 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $760,000 for draw 10419.
