A Langwarrin man has confessed he is lacking motivation to work today after scoring a division one prize worth over $774,000 in Saturday’s TattsLotto draw.

The Melbourne resident held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3961, drawn Saturday 6 July 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $774,826.59.

Sharing his joy with a Tatts official this morning, the thrilled winner confessed he would not be able to concentrate at work today.

“I was just at home checking my numbers over a cup of coffee as I usually do on a Sunday morning,” he explained.

“I saw that I had all of the numbers and I thought ‘oh my god’. I checked it about three or four times.

“Then I checked the numbers online to check again and that’s when I realised! Bloody hell! What a life-changer!

“We didn’t do much to celebrate and ended up having a pretty quiet day.

“I had to come to work today. I’ll keep working but it was very hard to come to work. It’s hard to be motivated to do any work!”

The regular player revealed he had been hoping for this life-changing moment for decades.

“I’ve been playing every week for the past 32 years!” he said.

“The most I’ve ever won is $300 and I was pretty happy with that.

“To be honest, I’m always just happy to win enough for me to buy another ticket with the winnings!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the stoked bloke confessed he had his sights set on a debt-free future.

“I’ll pay off the mortgage!” he immediately declared.

“It will be amazing to pay off the mortgage and know that whatever money I make is mine for the keeping.

“We’ll have a bit left over so we’ll head off on holiday next year. Just normal family stuff.

“I’ll want to take the whole family to New York for a holiday. I’ve wanted to go for a while so that’s what we’ll do!”

The regular player, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Langwarrin Lotto, Shop 11 South Gateway, 230 Cranbourne-Frankston Road, Langwarrin.

Langwarrin Lotto owner Stephen Dall’Oste said he was thrilled his outlet had sold another division one winning entry.

“We are so fortunate and lucky to have sold another division one winning entry!” he exclaimed.

“We’ve now sold 24 major prize winning entries over the last few years with the last in October last year.

“We’ll be telling all of our customers that we’ve sold another division one winning entry as they will be delighted there has been another win in the area.

“Congratulations to our winner. We hope he enjoys his prize to the fullest!

“Selling a division one winning entry is the ultimate outcome for our outlet and we are ecstatic to have sold another one. We hope another one of our customers wins soon!”
