A Bargara man has confessed he hasn’t come down off cloud nine since discovering he’d won a life-changing $520,000 prize on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The winner takes home $520,000, paid in $1,000 weekly instalments for the next 10 years.
The top prize-winning $10 Live the Life Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at Fresh Fields Foodworks, Shop 2, 1A Thabeban Street, Bundaberg.
“This is the most amazing feeling in the world!” he exclaimed when confirming his win with an official from The Lott.
“I don’t play Instant Scratch-Its all that often and thought I’d just grab one as a bit of Friday afternoon fun.
“When I scratched away at it and realised I’d won, I was beyond shocked.
“The celebrations haven’t kicked off just yet, but no doubt I’ll be having a big Christmas holiday and will enjoy every second of it.
“It still hasn’t hit me yet.
“Even talking about it now, I feel like I’m talking about someone else’s life.
“As a young man, I just feel like I can set myself up now for the future.
“Any worries I had are gone.
“Thank you so much!”
The Fresh Fields Foodworks team said they were over the moon to have sold a top prizewinning Instant Scratch-Its ticket and wished their winner all the best for the future.
