A Lithgow man has had a shocking start to the last day of 2025, discovering he scored $7.5 million in last night’s Oz Lotto draw.
The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Oz Lotto draw 1663 on Tuesday 30 December 2025. Each division one winning entry pocketed $7.5 million.
The retired man was oblivious to his multi-million-dollar fortune until an official from The Lott reached out to him this morning.
“Oh my god! Really?!” he exclaimed when the enormity of his win was revealed.
“Thank you! I was not expecting that. Oh jesus!
“That’s fantastic.
“This is a very good time to win.
“It’s been a good Christmas but now it’s become so much better.
“I just never thought I would ever win a prize like this.
“I’ll be able to help out the kids and then we might go on a nice European river cruise.
“Wow! I’m a bit stupefied by this. It’s all a bit weird.
“I was meant to do some work around the house today, but I think I’ll be able to get out of this now.”
The man’s winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1663 on Tuesday 30 December 2025 were 14, 11, 31, 20, 19, 1 and 27, while the supplementary numbers were 43, 1 and 13.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Oz Lotto draw 1663 – one each in New South Wales and Queensland.
