A Lithgow man is planning to spend his days in self-isolation organising the perfect future holiday to Europe for his wife after discovering he won the 1st Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10363, drawn Friday 3 April 2020.
As well as winning the 1st Prize, the man also won a consolation prize of $2,000 boosting his total win to $102,000.
This afternoon, an official from the Lott called to break the happy news and found the unsuspecting winner busy doing chores around the house.
“Thank you very much!” he gasped.
“I was busy mending the fences on our property, but this is a call I’m glad to have answered.
“What a great interruption!
“It’s a bloody good surprise, a big shock.
“I was just complaining about not winning a big prize the other day! I spoke too soon.
“This is incredible, really thank you.”
The hardworking man said he’d be putting his time in self-isolation to good use, by planning how to spend his prize.
“We are in lockdown at the moment, so we can’t really go out to celebrate, but I have some nice cold beers in the fridge so that’s what I’ll be doing this afternoon,” he laughed.
“I’ll pay off some bills and my wife has been dreaming of going to Europe for ages, so now I might surprise her and take her.
“Of course, who knows when that will be, but this will give me the time to plan the perfect holiday!
“I can’t wait to tell my wife, she’s going to have a heart attack when she hears the news.”
The winning entry was purchased at Lithgow Newsagency & Stationery, 139 Main Street, Lithgow.
Lithgow Newsagency & Stationery owner Kim Luong said she was thrilled to have delivered a win to one of her customers in this difficult time.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.20 million for draw 1482 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.27 million for draw 10364.
