A Liverpool man confessed he couldn’t help but jump for joy after his standard Thursday was tipped on its head with the news he’d won $200,000 in this morning’s Lucky Lotteries draw.
The Sydneysider scored the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1584, drawn Thursday 4 August 2022.
Confirming his win with an official from The Lott, the grateful grandfather’s thoughts immediately turned to his nearest and dearest.
“What! Are you sure?” he exclaimed.
“Well, that’s nice, isn’t it? I’m blown away.
“I’ll be sharing the entire win with my children and grandchildren. It just feels like the right thing to do.
“It’s a tough world out there at the moment, and I want to give them every chance to succeed and be happy in their lives, just like I’ve been in mine.
“At the end of the day, there’s nothing more important than family is there.
“Thank you so much!
“I don’t think there’s any better news at the back end of the week.”
His winning entry of 10 random numbers was purchased at Glebe Point Newsagency, 335 Glebe Point Road, Glebe.
The Glebe Point Newsagency team said they were extremely excited for their winning customer and wished them all the best for their future.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $13.01 million for draw 1585, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $21.215 million for draw 10634.
