A Coffs Harbour mum was left stunned after discovering her family’s long-time shared lottery ticket finally paid off, delivering a dreamy $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win.
The New South Wales players held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11071, drawn Wednesday 29 April 2026. They can look forward to a neat $100,000 prize.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered her ticket to a player card or online account, she would have already been alerted to her newfound treasure. Instead, officials from The Lott had to wait for her to check her ticket and come forward.
“Wow! I’m very shocked. It’s been a long time coming!” she said when speaking with an official from The Lott.
“I’ve been playing lotteries for decades and always dreamed of winning big.
“I bought this ticket when I was on holidays in Woy Woy. Can you believe it?
“It’s a shared ticket with my two adult children, so $33,000 each isn’t too bad, is it?
“We’ll have to plan a meet up and celebrate all together.
“One of my son’s will use his share towards renovating his house, and I’ll be tucking my share away as a nest egg.”
The winning ticket was purchased at Deepwater Plaza Newsagency, Shops 14-15 Deepwater Plaza, Railway Street, Woy Woy.
Deepwater Plaza Newsagency manager Gordon Swinford shared the team was all smiles behind the counter upon discovering they’d sold a $100,000 winning ticket.
“It was a wow moment for the entire team!” he said.
“We’ve been all smiles behind the counter and can’t wait to spread the fantastic news with our community.
“Over the years, we’ve sold an amazing 11 1st Prize winning entries.
“Congratulations to our winner! It really couldn’t happen to a nicer community.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.72 million for draw 1784, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $2.45 million for draw 11072.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
