A Liverpool man is feeling on top of the world after not only securing his first home with his wife but also scoring $930,000 in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The South-Western Sydney resident held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4627, drawn Saturday 22 November 2025. Each division one winning entry took home $921,766.49.
On top of his division one bounty, the gleeful man also scored division three 12 times and division four 15 times bolstering his total prize to $931,984.19.
When an official from The Lott confirmed the thrilling news, the winning man was buzzing with excitement.
“I’ve been expecting your call! I was starting to get worried,” he laughed.
“It means so much to me and my wife. We’ve just got a mortgage to purchase a home, so it’s awesome timing.
“I bought my ticket on Thursday, and I’d completely forgotten about it until I checked my ticket Sunday morning. I only play occasionally so I couldn’t believe it.
“It honestly felt like my heart stopped. I’m still in shock and even my wife didn’t believe it either.
“It’s a miracle and amazingly, there were six other winners in the draw, so it’s shared around. Congratulations to all of them, too!”
As he’d recently bought his first home, the winner had thought a holiday would be out of reach.
“I’d love to go on a holiday next year. Now we can probably go a bit longer too,” he said.
“It’s wonderful. Thank you so much.”
His winning marked System 8 entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4627 on 22 November 2025 were 7, 31, 15, 39, 42 and 12, while the supplementary numbers were 5 and 8.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4627 – three in New South Wales, two in Victoria and two in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 386 so far in 2025, including 111 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In FY25, Saturday Lotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
