A sleepy Shellharbour retiree says he was wide awake all night thinking about how he’d enjoy his $200,000 Lucky Lotteries prize.
The New South Wales player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1473, drawn Monday 20 January 2020.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this afternoon, the man revealed he discovered his windfall last night.
“Thank you,” he said.
“That’s lovely!
“I realised when I checked my ticket online late last night.
“I couldn’t believe it! I didn’t sleep at all. I was wide awake all night thinking of how I’ll enjoy my prize.
“It’s an amazing win. It is such great news!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the winner had plenty of ideas.
“I’m going to do a few renovations around the house,” he declared.
“I’ll also be able to upgrade some furniture and share some of my prize with my family.
“It will change my life, that’s for sure.”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry at Oak Flats Newsagency, 74B Central Avenue, Oak Flats.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.49 million for draw 1475 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.93 million for draw 10346.
