The happy winner scored the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10440, drawn Tuesday 2 February 2021.
When an official from The Lott spoke to the winner to break the exciting news, he admitted he was ‘all thumbs’.
“You’re making me nervous! I hope you are calling because I have won something!” he laughed.
“I’m trying to confirm what you are telling me on the app, but I’m all thumbs. I keep pressing the wrong button.
“I can see now I’ve won $100,000! I can’t believe it. That’s awesome.
“It’s the second time I’ve won a prize like this. We’re going back a long, long time ago though. Back then, I shared it with a friend.
“It’s fantastic, and it has happened again. I didn’t expect this at all.
“I buy tickets pretty regularly but never think to check them. It’s just fantastic! It’s awesome!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his Lucky Lotteries windfall, the thrilled player confessed it had come at the perfect time.
“We’ve just been working on our retirement plan so having an extra $100,000 to add to that will make a huge difference!” he declared.
“I’m so very pleased. I can’t wait to tell my wife. She is going to be so excited!”
