A Marion woman has declared she is jumping out of her skin with excitement after discovering she won $1 million in Monday’s X Lotto draw.
The happy winner held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday X Lotto draw 3992, drawn Monday 20 July 2020. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1 million.
Although her entry was registered to an Easiplay Club card, officials from the Lott had been unable to deliver the life-changing news because her contact details were out of date.
Sharing her joy with an official from the Lott this morning, the winner recounted how she discovered the life-changing win.
“Oh, my goodness! You have no idea how I feel. I’m jumping out of my skin. I’m so excited!” she exclaimed.
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before. It’s absolutely fantastic news. I’m still pinching myself.
“A million dollars! My goodness!
“I actually checked my ticket yesterday morning. I always make myself a cup of tea and sit down with the newspaper and check my ticket against the numbers in the paper.
“I checked the numbers and right there on the first line were my numbers staring right back at me.
“I double-checked the draw, and the date were correct and exactly matched what was in the paper.
“I thought to myself ‘I’m dreaming. This is a dream’.
“So I called a family member and got them to check it, and they said to me ‘If you’re dreaming, I’m in the same dream because it is true’!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a newly-minted millionaire, the generous winner said that although she was still in shock, she couldn’t wait to help others.
“I’ll be in la-la land for a little while, so I’m not sure how I am going to spend it all,” she laughed.
“I’m still a bit overwhelmed. I do know that I am going to share it amongst my family, and there are three charities that I want to send some money to.
“They are all really worthwhile causes, and I’d love to help them as much as I can.”
The winning entry was purchased at City Cross Lotteries, Kiosk 4, City Cross Shopping Centre, Rundle Mall, Adelaide.
City Cross Lotteries manager Jenny Herbertt said she was thrilled the winner had claimed her prize.
“We are so happy for our winner. We are so pleased she has discovered her win!” she exclaimed.
“We’ve had a very busy couple of days with people checking their tickets so it will be great to be able to tell our customers the winner has come forward.

The winning numbers in Monday X Lotto draw 3992 on Monday 20 July 2020 were 18, 2, 7, 14, 3 and 35, while the supplementary numbers were 5 and 16.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Monday’s X Lotto draw – one each from South Australia and Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 213 so far this calendar year, including 18 won by SA Lotteries customers.
Between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020, there were 101 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $98 million.
