A Maryborough shopper is celebrating their bank account ballooning by $685,000, after scoring division one in Saturday’s Gold Lotto draw.
The entry was one of the six division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3923, drawn Saturday 23 February 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $672,193.57.
The winning System 8 entry also won division three 12 times and division four 15 times, boosting their total prize to $685,783.87.
The ticket was purchased at Pandora News, Shop 3, Maryborough Central Plaza, 65-75 Bazaar Street, Maryborough.
Pandora News manager Becky Bull said it was fantastic to discover they’d sold a division one winning entry for the first time.
“This is the first time we’ve sold a division one winning entry, so as you could imagine, we’re absolutely thrilled!” she exclaimed.
“We hope this is the first of many division one wins for our customers. There will be plenty of celebrating in store over the next week.
“Our customers are all so excited and hopeful that the next big win will go to them.
“We’re so happy for our customer and wish them all the very best with their prize!”
However, how the player plans to spend their Saturday Gold Lotto windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
Golden Casket spokesperson Lauren Cooney said that while we may never know how the Maryborough shopper plans to spend their $685,000 windfall we are sure it will change their life and their plans for the rest of the year.
“We can only imagine how their plans for 2019 have changed now they’ve discovered this life-changing news!” she exclaimed.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3923 on Saturday 23 February 2019 were 37, 13, 19, 21, 25 and 20, while the supplementary numbers were 33 and 27.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3923, including four in Queensland and one each in Victoria and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 254 so far this financial year, including 56 won by Golden Casket customers.
