A Mont Albert man is looking forward to reuniting with his family this Christmas thanks to his $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize win.

The Victorian won the 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10425, drawn Monday 16 November 2020.

When an official from The Lott broke the news to the winner this morning, he couldn’t contain his excitement.

“Oh my god! Unbelievable! Thank you very much!” he exclaimed.

“I was just laying on the couch when you called and nearly didn’t get up to answer the phone.

“It feels very, very good! It’s just unbelievable.

“I started playing Lucky Lotteries a year ago when the jackpot was high and have loved playing it ever since.

“I grab a ticket every week, so it’s exciting to have had a big win!”

When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the thrilled winner revealed it would enable him to reunite with his family.

“This has just made my Christmas!” he exclaimed.

“It has come at the perfect time. I’ve been hoping all year that I will be able to save enough to go home and visit my family for Christmas.

“Now that restrictions are lifting, and this win has come my way it looks like I’ll be able to see my family after not seeing them all year.

“Apart from that, I don’t know how I’ll spend the rest. It’s still so unbelievable!”

The winning entry was purchased at Bennettswood News Post & Lotto, 79 Station Street, Burwood.

Bennettswood News Post & Lotto owner Audrey Lin said she was thrilled to have sold a major prize.

“It’s such good news! I was so surprised! I couldn’t believe it when I got a notification that we’d sold a 1st Prize winning entry!” she exclaimed.

“We took ownership of this outlet in April this year, and this is the first major prize we’ve sold since then so we are thrilled.

“Congratulations to our winner! We wish him all the very best!”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $2.92 million for draw 1507 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $500,000 for draw 10426.
