A Moonee Ponds couple can’t wait to live in the lap of luxury after becoming overnight millionaires thanks to their TattsLotto division one win.
The happy couple held one of the four division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4145 on Saturday 10 April 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $1,695,815.49.
As well as scoring division one, the delighted duo also scored division two six times, boosting their total windfall to $1,744,668.09.
The jubilant couple had been eagerly waiting by the phone this morning to have the winning news confirmed by an official from The Lott.
“Thank you very much! We have been waiting for this call,” the winning woman giggled.
“Yesterday morning when we woke up, we checked the winning numbers online, like we always do. We got the surprise of our life when we saw we won division one!
“I just kept thinking ‘are we dreaming?’.
“We have been waiting for your call ever since! We didn’t want to get too excited unless we knew it was 100% true.
“I am still in a state of disbelief! I think I am in shock still. I don’t know how to feel.
“It’s very surreal. I still don’t believe it.
“We are very overwhelmed.”
When asked how they planned to enjoy their windfall, the joyful couple declared they had a few things in mind.
“We intend to share it with our family,” the winning man stated.
“We would love to go overseas when we can, but in the meantime, we will do lots of travelling around the country.
“We certainly plan to live it up! There are going to be a few nice things on the menu.”
The winning 5-game System 7 entry was sold at Puckle St Nextra, 45 Puckle Street, Moonee Ponds.
Puckle St Nextra owner Jordan Elliot said his outlet was in celebration mode after selling a division one winning entry to their customers.
“It’s fantastic news!” he declared.
“It’s been a while since we sold a division one winning entry. We have certainly been waiting to make another one of our customers a division one winner, so we are so excited now that it’s happened.
“It’s wonderful to know we’ve helped change someone’s life and we can’t wait to do it again.
“We really wish our winners all the very best and hope they enjoy being millionaires.”
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4145 on 10 April 2021 were 7, 20, 42, 26, 8 and 22, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 16.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4145 – two from Victoria and one each from New South Wales and South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 332 so far this financial year, including 131 won by Tatts customers.
In 2020, TattsLotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.
