A Mooroolbark woman has confessed her heart is still racing after discovering she is now over $4 million richer after winning division one in TattsLotto.

The thrilled winner was the only division one winner nationally in TattsLotto draw 3879 on Saturday 22 September 2018 and takes home a division one prize of $4,115,786.02.

The Mooroolbark woman recounted the life-changing moment she discovered she was a multi-millionaire.

“It’s unreal! It has taken me all day yesterday to get my head around it!” she exclaimed.

“I was in bed and at about four o’clock in the morning I heard a little tingle on the iPad and I thought ‘oh that could be an email from TattsLotto with a win, I’ll have to check in the morning’.

“I forgot all about it until the afternoon! I opened the email and it said I had won but it did not tell me how much.

“I looked up the winning numbers and I got my ticket out to check and tick, tick, tick – I had six numbers in a row! I couldn’t believe it!

“Then the heart started really racing!”

The retired woman revealed her TattsLotto windfall would help the people at the top of her Lotto List – her beloved children and grandchildren.

“You’ve got no idea! It is going to be life-changing for my family – just unbelievable!” she said.

“I’m fortunate that I own my own house and I am very comfortable, but my kids struggle and work really hard to pay their mortgages.

“To be able to see their faces when I told them I will pay their mortgages for them – well, it put a smile on my face.

“We are going to do a holiday as a family too! We will all go away together.

“The kids even told me ‘Mum, that’s it! You are getting a new car. I don’t care what you say, you need a new car!’ So I suppose I’ll get one of those too!

“We all went out for dinner as a family last night and celebrated! It was just a lovely way to celebrate.”

The rapt Mooroolbark local revealed she was a regular TattsLotto player.

“It’s a dream come true!” the overjoyed winner declared.

“I had been playing TattsLotto for ages with my husband and even after he passed away I kept playing our numbers.

“It’s been a long, long time! My kids said ‘Oh Mum it’s about bloody time!

“I’d always kept wishing and hoping it would happen and today that dream has come true!”

The generous mother and grandmother, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 12-game QuickPick entry at Mooroolbark Lotto Centre, Shop 14, 83 Brice Ave, Mooroolbark.

Owner of Mooroolbark Lotto Centre Wendy Chen said she was thrilled to have sold another division one winning entry.

“I can’t believe it! We only took over the shop three months ago and we’ve already sold two division one winning entries!” she exclaimed.

“It’s just great for us and great for our customers!

“We are so pleased it is a local to the area, and we hope they enjoy their prize!”

The six winning numbers in Saturday TattsLotto draw 3879 on Saturday 22 September 2018 were 32, 29, 9, 44, 21 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 2 and 28.

Across Australia, there was only one division one winning entry, which landed in Victoria.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 293 so far this calendar year, including 120 won by Tatts customers.

Last financial year, there were 290 division one winning TattsLotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $302.7 million.
