A Mornington woman and her family are ready to soar into the sky on a helicopter pub crawl as part of her celebrations for winning division one in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The victorious Victorian held one of the two division one winning entries in Super 66 draw 4137 on Saturday 13 March 2021. Each division one winner took home a prize of $43,379.50
Speaking to an official from The Lott, the loving mum couldn’t contain her excitement over the win.
“You’ve made my life! This is just amazing!” she exclaimed.
“It was my mother who said I should play Super 66. I’ve only played Super 66 about four times during the past two weeks and bingo, I got it!
“When it said on The Lott app that I had won, I thought it can’t be serious. I thought someone was having me on.
“You’ve no idea what this means to us.
“I’ve never won anything like this. It’s surreal.
“I’ve fought cancer for the past 12 months. I’m in remission now.
“With COVID and cancer, 2020 can stick it up it’s you know what.
“This is a brand-new start to my new life. I feel like I’ve basically started again. The old me is gone and this is the new me!
“Every day is a bonus. This win is just incredible.”
The winner shared she already had some exhilarating plans for her prize.
“We’ve booked a helicopter pub crawl!” she cried.
“We’re in Darwin with family at the moment – this is the most beautiful place on the planet.
“We were thinking, ‘what we were going to do to celebrate?’. We thought we needed to step this up, so we’ve booked a helicopter pub crawl!”
The winning 10-game QuickPick entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
