One Mount Isa workplace is about to wave goodbye to a staff member after a local man snagged a life-enhancing $2 million in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The Queenslander held one of the five division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4641, drawn Saturday 10 January 2026. Each entry pocketed a neat $2 million.
The winning man found it hard to believe he’d landed a multi-million-dollar win, admitting he was half convinced someone was pulling his leg.
“Are you kidding me?” he questioned.
“I don’t know what to think right now!
“I’m really lost for words and I’m wondering if this is even real.
“We’re currently travelling around Australia, and I’ve been dreading going back to work.
“But now, I don’t think I’ll have to work anymore!
“I can’t wait to tell my wife. She will be over the moon.
“Thank you very much.”
His winning 12-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4641 on 10 January 2026 were 23, 1, 41, 8, 30 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 37.
Across Australia, there were five division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4641 – three in Victoria, and one each in Tasmania and Queensland.
