A Murray Bridge man’s week has been kicked into gear after he received the news he won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The South Australian resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10653, drawn Monday 22 August 2022.
The winning man was happily going about his day, oblivious to his good fortune, when an official from The Lott made contact.
“I can see it here,” the winning man laughed when he checked his online entry himself to double-check the news.
“I’m sorry, I’m stunned.
“This is absolutely fantastic!
“I feel great, and I appreciate you so much!
“I’ve been playing Lucky Lotteries for a long time.
“This is great. My partner and I have worked hard our whole lives.
“I’m not sure what we’ll do with it, but I think we’ll probably put it towards our new house.
“I think we may even have a little celebration.
“Thank you so much!”
His winning entry of seven random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $13.73 million for draw 1588, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $23.81 million for draw 10655.
In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.
