A Cranbourne East truck driver has declared ‘his heart has stopped’ after hearing the news he is now $200,000 richer from scoring the 1st Prize in today’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The southeast Melbourne man won the guaranteed 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1272, drawn Tuesday 9 April 2019.
As well as winning the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000, the thrilled winner’s entry of five consecutive numbers also won an additional $1,000 in consolation prizes, bolstering their total prize to $201,000.
When a Tatts official called to break the exciting news, the happy winner was in such a state of disbelief, and it took a few moments for the news to sink in.
“You’re kidding me? Are you for real?” he questioned.
“My heart has just about stopped. My heart has stopped! “My god! I’m shaking. Unreal! Sh*t! Unbelievable! Phwoah! Man!
“I certainly was not expecting this phone call. Bloody hell!

“I thought ‘I’d better have a crack at that!’.
“Sh*t! Two hundred thousand? Jesus!
“You don’t know how good this is. Far out! This is excellent! Fantastic!
“I’m going to have to take my friend who recommended the game to me out for a drink!
“I’m going to keep playing! That jackpot is still out there so maybe you can call me again soon!”
The hardworking night-shift truck driver said he was heading to tonight with a huge smile on his face.
“You’ve just made my day!” he laughed.
“It will probably be the first time in a while I’ll be heading into work with a big smile on my face!”
When asked how he planned to spend his Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot windfall, the stoked bloke revealed he had his eye on an overseas holiday.
“I’m over-the-moon! It’s unbelievable!” he declared.

“I’ve got a house to pay off – that will take a good chunk off the mortgage.
“There are so many things it can help with. A holiday for a start!
“I was thinking of a cheap holiday over to Asia but now I think I’ll upgrade and go to Las Vegas!
“I’ll definitely do something fun with it!
“Most of it will go to the mortgage so this will ease the pain of that right up!”
The thrilled winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of five consecutive numbers at Hunt Club Lotto, shop R12 Hunt Club Village, 15 Linsell Boulevard, Cranbourne East.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $54.52 million for draw 1274 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.79 million for draw 10283.
