One Queensland entry won the entire $100 million Powerball jackpot tonight, but the identity of the new multi-millionaire remains a complete mystery.

The Brisbane entry was the only division one winning entry in Powerball draw 1475 on 22 August 2024.

As tonight’s winning entry was not registered to a player’s card, the identity of the ticketholder remains a mystery, and they may have yet to discover they’re now $100 million richer.

The winning ticket was purchased in-store from one of The Lott’s outlets on Brisbane’s northside.

The Lott is urging all Brisbane residents or visitors who purchased an entry in tonight’s Powerball draw to check their ticket and make contact to claim their prize.

The mystery winner has become the equal third biggest lottery winner in Australian history.

In addition to the $100 million division one winner, there were 3,389,212 wins across divisions two to nine in tonight's Powerball draw who collectively took home $67,789,677.20. There were also 10 division two winners who each scored $188,606.60.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she was eagerly waiting for Australia’s newest multi-millionaire to make contact and start the exciting prize claim process.

“Someone has become an overnight multi-millionaire but possibly doesn't know it yet. We can’t wait for them to discover this winning news!” she said.

“Just imagine how $100 million might change your life and the lives of your nearest and dearest.

“There are 100 million reasons why all Queensland players who had an entry in tonight’s draw should check their ticket this morning.

“Players can check their tickets in-store, online at thelott.com or via The Lott app.

“If you discover you’re holding the division one winning entry, hold on tight to that ticket and phone 131 868 as soon as possible so that we can start the prize claim process!”

“It’s a great reminder to players of the importance of registering your tickets to a player card or online account so all of their prizes are secure, and they can be contacted directly with the good news of a big win.”
