A St Marys man found himself lost for words and unable to fall asleep after a late-night ticket check revealed he’d won $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries draw.
The New South Wales player held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11078, drawn Monday 8 June 2026. He can look forward to a neat $100,000 prize.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered his ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted him to his windfall.
“I guess it’s one of those lucky days,” he said when an official from The Lott confirmed his six-figure prize.
“I checked my ticket last night before bed, and I can’t even describe the feeling.
“I didn’t know what to do with myself.
“It was very hard to fall asleep.
“I’m feeling the shock all over again hearing you say I’ve won $100,000.
“I have no idea what I’ll do with the prize just yet. I still don’t know to be honest.”
The winning entry was purchased at St Marys Newsagency, 118 Queen Street, St Marys.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.96 million for draw 1785, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $3.36 million for draw 11079.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
