A Narellan family has admitted the excitement of discovering a $1.4 million Saturday Lotto win kept them up all night.
The private syndicate held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4293, drawn Saturday 10 September 2022 and takes home a total prize of $1,428,579.98.
Confirming their win with an official from The Lott this morning, the private syndicate leader admitted she could barely hold the phone because she was shaking so much from the excitement.
“Please tell me we aren’t dreaming!” she cried.
“Last night, I was on Facebook and saw a post about a mystery winner from Narellan Newsagency. So, when I got home, I checked the family tickets.
“I was with some family when I checked it, and we were utterly shocked. We could barely say a word. It was surreal.
“It’s a syndicate with a few family members in it, so afterwards, we called everyone to tell them we thought we’d won.
“We didn’t want to get our hopes up until we’d spoken to you, so we’ve been anxiously waiting to have the win confirmed.
“We were in denial. We just kept thinking things like this don’t happen to people like us.
“But now you’ve confirmed it; it feels real – almost scary! I can’t believe it.
“It’s going to mean a lot of love for a lot of our family.
“We’ll go out for a nice dinner altogether to celebrate. It’s just lovely!”
Their winning entry was purchased at Narellan Newsagency, Shop 33 Narellan Town Centre 326 Camden Valley Way, Narellan.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4293 on 10 September 2022 were 31, 45, 2, 11, 8 and 32, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 41.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4293 – three in New South Wales, two in Western Australia and one each in Queensland and Victoria.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 305 so far this calendar year, including 84 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In FY22, Saturday Lotto created 196 millionaires across Australia.
