A Narellan man knocked off work early yesterday sporting a grin from ear to ear after a surprise call from lottery officials revealed his $100,000 Lucky Lotteries win.

The Sydneysider held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10972, drawn Tuesday 6 May 2025.

“That’s fantastic,” he gasped when an official from The Lott revealed his newfound fortune.

“That’s unbelievable! I need to sit down.

“Thank you so much. I had no idea about the win.

“I think I might have to leave work a bit earlier today. I won’t be able to concentrate.”

When asked how he intended to spend the $100,000 prize, the New South Welshman shared a luxurious holiday was at the top of his wishlist.

“I’ve always wanted to do more travel. I think I’ll go on a nice holiday!” he revealed.

“It’s perfect timing.”

His winning entry of five consecutive numbers was purchased at Narellan Newsagency, Shop 33, Narellan Town Centre, 326 Camden Valley Wally, Narellan.

The Narellan Newsagency team were pleased to have sold a major prize-winning entry and wished their winner all the very best.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.80 million for draw 1702, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $17.40 million for draw 10974.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
