A Nerang man confessed the revelation that he’d won more than $1 million in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw had he and his wife jumping around the study this morning.
The Gold Coast man held one of the three division one winning entries across Australia in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4184, drawn Monday 23 May 2022. Each division one winning entry scored an incredible $1 million.
Confirming his win with an official from The Lott this morning, the winning man said he was struggling to believe that a rudimentary Tuesday had become one of the best days of his life.
“Oh my god!” he proclaimed.
“Can I tell you I love you?
“This morning was just your run of the mill Tuesday. I woke up and checked some emails and then checked my Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto numbers.
“I had to wake my wife up, and when she confirmed that we’d won, we began jumping around the study and yelling with happiness.
“I once heard someone say it’s best to pick your numbers and stick with them. Well, after a decade, mine have worked wonders!
“This will set us up for the rest of our lives. We’ll be able to buy a new home, and that’s the best outcome for us.
“We’ll be having a nice dinner tonight to celebrate, and then I’ll process the win completely.
“This is wonderful!”
The winning ticket was purchased at newsXpress Nerang Newsagency, Shop 15 Nerang Fair Shopping Centre, 74 Nerang-Beaudesert Road, Nerang.
