The two New South Wales players each held a division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4039, drawn 30 December 2020. They each take home a division one prize of $1 million.
Banksia player ends 2020 with a bang thanks to $1 million win
A Banksia player has an extra reason to celebrate New Year’s Eve after discovering they won $1 million in last night’s Wednesday Lotto draw.
However, how the region’s newest millionaire plans to spend their windfall will forever be a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
The life-changing winning entry was purchased at Banksia Pharmacy, 25 Railway Street, Banksia.
Banksia Pharmacy manager Emile Tafech said he was thrilled one of his winners was entering 2021 as a millionaire.
“I couldn't believe it when I initially found out we sold a division one winning entry in Wednesday Lotto,” he said.
“I was very excited for the winner and our outlet. It's a great win to conclude a tough year.
“All of our customers are ecstatic for us and eager to be the next division one winner.
“We would love to send our congratulations to the winner and hope it brings them much joy. What a fantastic way to start the New Year! The timing couldn’t be better.”

A Minto lottery player has ended 2020 as a millionaire, but first they need to check their Wednesday Lotto ticket and discover their division one win.
The winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the mind-blowing news. They’re encouraging all Sydney residents to check their Wednesday Lotto entries today.
The winning entry was purchased at Minto Marketplace Newsagency, Shop 50, Minto Market Place, 10 Brookfield Road, Minto.
Minto Marketplace Newsagency owner Cuong Pham said he hoped his division one winner discovered the exciting news soon.
“I was surprised and very happy for the winner when I saw we’d sold a division one winning entry,” he shared.
“We couldn’t be happier that one of our customers scored division one! It’s amazing, hopefully they discover the news soon.
“Our team will be celebrating this win and sharing the news with our customers. They will all be very happy for our winner.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4039 on Wednesday 30 December 2020 were 21, 2, 32, 30, 11 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 25 and 42.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4039 – three from New South Wales and one from Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 210 so far this financial year, including 57 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
