When an Epping mum answered the phone to an official from the Lott this morning, she initially thought she’d done something wrong but was instead “stoked” to learn she’d won $100,000.

The Victorian player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10398, drawn Monday 3 August 2020.

After her initial confusion about the reason for the phone call passed, the winner admitted she was flooded with euphoria.

“Oh my gosh, have I done something wrong? I am so sorry if I have!” she first questioned.

“Okay, I will just log into my account. I am feeling a bit worried!

“Oh my god! No way! Are you kidding me?

“I am in tears! Oh my god! I had no idea.

“It’s been so hectic here. I have been trying to get myself sorted because of the restrictions, so I haven’t even thought to log into my account and check.

“I am stoked!

“God it’s been a crazy time, but this makes everything so much better!

“I am so happy!

“I can’t do too much to celebrate, but I will probably order some takeaway. We will certainly do something nice. It will be a very small, quiet celebration.

“It’s fantastic news! Especially in times like this.”

When asked how she planned to enjoy her unexpected windfall, the jubilant winner declared she already knew exactly what to do.

“I will put most of the prize away for my kids, and some can go towards the home,” she explained.

“I also would like to get a new phone! This one has just about had it!”

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of five random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.56 million for draw 1496 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.45 million for draw 10399.
