Ten Reynella lottery players have started the week on cloud nine after their syndicate entry scored $71,000 in the weekend’s Super 66 draw.
The store syndicate held the only division one winning entry in Super 66 draw 4229, drawn Saturday 29 January 2022 and took home $71,822.30.
Each member of the syndicate scored a $7,182.23 prize.
Shares into the winning syndicate were purchased at Old Town Reynella Newsagency, Shop 11, Old Town Reynella Shopping Centre, 211-225 Old South Road, Reynella.
Old Town Reynella Newsagency manager Rebecca Lloyd said she couldn’t be happier to see some of her regular customers win big.
“We started this Super 66 syndicate about a year ago, and our regular customers love it! It’s called ‘The Weekly Snake’ as it’s a really long ticket that plays from Monday to Saturday,” she said.
“We’re a closely-knit town so it’s really fantastic to see 10 of our regular customers win a major lottery prize.
“About five of the syndicate members have discovered their prize so far, with one of the members throwing their hands up in excitement.
“Some have shared their prize would go towards house renovations and others have said it would go straight in the bank.
“We can just imagine the prize would be a helpful boost during these tough times. Congratulations to our 10 local customers, we wish you all the very best.”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the weekend’s Super 66 draw from Old Town Reynella Newsagency to check their entries as soon as possible.
“There’s no better way to end the month of January than with a major lottery prize! I can imagine there are going to be 10 South Australians feeling ecstatic this week,” she said.
“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their EasiPlay Cards, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.
