A North Haven couple admitted that as soon as they discovered they won a $1 million Saturday X Lotto prize, they rushed straight over to each of their adult children’s houses to break the exciting news.
There were six division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday X Lotto draw 4191, drawn Saturday 18 September 2021. Each division one winning entry took home $1,048,320.62.
This is the 10th division one win to land in western Adelaide so far this year. These 10 wins have collectively won more than $17.7 million.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the winners admitted they were still struggling to come to terms with the life-changing news.
“I found out last night! I was just checking the numbers online and that’s when I saw we had all six numbers,” the winning woman relayed.
“I was completely dumbfounded! I thought it couldn’t possibly be real.
“I called out to my husband to check, and we both went into a state of shock.
“We were stunned silent. We could barely utter a word.
“We called our children afterwards and told them we were coming over to each of their houses because we had some news to share.
“They were blown away when we told them! There were lots of tears and hugs.
“They’d seen some posts on Facebook about a missing Saturday X Lotto winner, but they never imagined it would be us. They were so happy for us.
“We are still struggling to come to terms with the news. It’s quite bizarre!
“We feel like we are floating on air. We are millionaires - it’s crazy!
“It’s a life-changing win for us. It’s come at the perfect time. Thank you so very much.”
When asked how they planned to enjoy their windfall, the South Australian pair said it would certainly come in handy.
“We are going to use it to do some renovations. It’s something we’ve been thinking about for a while now,” the winning man continued.
“We will also use it for our future retirement and the rest we will share with our family.”
Their winning entry was purchased at Priceline Pharmacy North Haven, Shop 14-16 North Haven Shopping Centre, 46 - 56 Osborne Road, North Haven.
Priceline Pharmacy North Haven manager Kathy said the entire team was celebrating the division one win.
“Isn’t that fantastic news,” she said.
“We are so excited for the winners! It’s wonderful news for them, the community and also for us.
“We’d love to send our congratulations to the winning couple. We hope the news came as a great surprise and the prize will make a big difference to their life.
“Fingers crossed we have another big win soon.”
The winning numbers in Saturday X Lotto draw 4191 on 18 September 2021 were 5, 36, 6, 15, 43 and 18, while the supplementary numbers were 24 and 29.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday X Lotto draw 4191 – two each in Victoria and New South Wales and one each in South Australia and Queensland .
