A syndicate of 20 manufacturing workers from North Lakes are officially extending their Easter break after discovering they won the entire division one prize in the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw.
The team of hardworking Moreton Bay region residents held the only division one winning entry across Australia in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3939, drawn Saturday 20 April 2019. The group take home the entire division one prize pool of $3,971,149.27.
In addition to winning division one, the long-running private workplace syndicate also won division three 24 times and division four 90 times, boosting their total windfall to $4,001,888.47.
Each member of the 20-person syndicate receives a share worth $200,094.42.
A Golden Casket official made the life-changing phone call to the syndicate leader while she was at work to break the exciting news.
“Oh my god,” she laughed.
“Okay… Oh my god!
“I’m a bit shocked at the minute. It’s a work syndicate between 20 of us!
“I’m shaking!”
The syndicate leader revealed the North Lakes workplace would be rocked by the mind-blowing news.

The winning System 10 entry was purchased online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto and Saturday Gold Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3939 on Saturday 20 April 2019 were 36, 20, 9, 14, 18 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 19.
Across Australia, there was only one division one winning entry.
