A workplace syndicate of 29 toy distributors from Headstart International have spent the whole day celebrating after their entry into Saturday’s TattsLotto Superdraw scored them a division one prize worth over $1.4 million.
The private syndicate entry was one of the 14 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 3963, drawn Saturday 15 July 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,428,730.48.
When speaking with a Tatts official this afternoon, the syndicate leader from Headstart International said the office had a great party atmosphere today.
“I couldn’t believe it when I checked the app on Sunday!” the syndicate leader exclaimed.
“I couldn’t wait to tell everyone. I shared the news with them this morning and we’ve all been celebrating.
“There are 29 of us so even though the prize is spread out there is a still great chunk of money.
“Everyone is so happy!”
The syndicate leader shared there had been a lot of discussion on how people planned to share their windfall.
“There have been a lot of chats about paying off mortgages and credit cards and a few people have mentioned shopping sprees and holidays,” he laughed.
“For myself, I’m already planning on going on a holiday so I think it might be a bit bigger now I have a bigger budget!”
The syndicate leader purchased the private syndicate’s winning 50-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
