One month on, NSW Lotteries officials are still searching for the mystery winner of over $1 million from a Saturday Lotto draw in December who is yet to claim their prize.

The Sydney CBD entry was one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 on Saturday 22 December 2018.  Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,018,499.24.

The winning entry is not registered to a Players Club card, which means NSW Lotteries officials have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.

NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney is urging anyone with an entry in a December Saturday Lotto draw to check their tickets.

“This million-dollar winning entry was purchased in the Sydney CBD.  It could have been bought by a resident or a visitor, so we’re asking everyone throughout the country to check their Saturday Lotto tickets,” she said.

“Our winner could be completely unaware they are now over $1 million richer! Imagine how your plans for 2019 would change if you discovered you are a newly-minted millionaire!

“You may not think it’s possible that you could be the unregistered division one winner we are looking for, but if you purchased an entry in last month’s Saturday Lotto draw that you haven’t checked yet, you’re in with a chance!

“If you discover you are holding the unregistered division one winning entry to contact NSW Lotteries on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”

The winning entry was purchased at Connection Newsagency, Shop P6, Hunter Connection, 109 Pitt Street, Sydney. It was the only entry from New South Wales to score division one in the weekend’s draw.

Connection Newsagency owner Mark Hou said one of his customers was destined for a great year – if only they checked their ticket.

“We’re desperate to unite our customer with their prize,” he said.

“Now that people are home from holidays and back at work we’ve been asking everyone if they’ve got any old tickets they haven’t checked yet.

“We certainly haven’t lost hope!”

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 on Saturday 22 December 2018 were 5, 14, 41, 29, 43 and 9, while the supplementary numbers were 37 and 15.

Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3905 – two in Victoria and one each in New South Wales and Tasmania

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 212 so far this financial year, including 64 won by NSW Lotteries customers.

In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
