The Oz Lotto jackpot has climbed to $70 million for next Tuesday, paving the way for any of the next draw’s division one winners to enjoy a massive multi-million dollar boost just in time for the new financial year.
It comes after tonight’s $50 million division one prize eluded players across the nation, prompting the Oz Lotto prize to climb higher for the seventh week in a row.
It is the second time so far in 2019 that Oz Lotto has hit $70 million. In March, when it was last at this level, three division one winning entries shared this massive jackpot – with two of these entries held by one Melbourne man!
While no entries scored the division one prize in tonight’s Oz Lotto draw, a total of 721,599 prizes worth more than $16.38 million were won in divisions two to seven. This includes 14 division two winners who each landed $33,152.45.
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said up to one-in-four Australian adults were expected to have an entry into next Tuesday’s draw.
“Seventy million dollars is an eye-catching prize and one of the biggest jackpots we’ve seen so far in 2019. It’s certainly more than enough to make some Aussie dreams a reality,” he said.
“So far this year, only five entries have snagged the sought-after Oz Lotto division one prize – three of these were from Victoria, while there was one each from New South Wales and Tasmania.
“We can’t wait to see where our next Oz Lotto division one winner heralds from; perhaps we’ll find out after next Tuesday’s draw!”
In 2018, there were 20 division one winning Oz Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $253.7 million.
The winning numbers in Oz Lotto draw 1321 on Tuesday 11 June 2019 were 34, 30, 2, 7, 37, 43 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 8 and 5.
Next week's $70 million draw, Oz Lotto draw 1322, closes at 7:30pm AEST on Tuesday 18 June 2019.
